The Girl Who Learned To Move

I went back to the corner where I fist saw you
Came to get my sleeping bag
Now I'm gonna move.

Wiped the words off the cardboard
Threw the picture off my hand saying,
If you see this guy, please don't tell him where I went.”

Some thought it's kinda bravey
Now I understand
I'm not broke
I'm not a brokenhearted man

Now it all makes sense
There's something I can do
I can now move on
I'm no longer in love with you

So if one day you wake up
and find that you're missing me
And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be

Stop thinking you can still come back
to the place that we meet
'Cause you won't see me waiting for you
on the corner of the street
'Cause I'm now moving.
I'm now moving.

At least they said I couldn't just stay here
They didn't think I'll be waiting you
for a day, a month, a year

'Cause I won't stand my ground
'cause it may rain or snow
If you ever change your mind
There is no place that you could go

People talk about the girl
Who waited on a guy
She got no holes in her heels,
not a hole in her world

So maybe I'll be famous
as the girl who learned to move
And maybe you won't mean to
but you'll see it all is true

And you can't come running to the corner
'Cause I'm no longer there for you.
I'm the girl who learned to move.
I'm the girl who learned to move.

I went back to the corner where I fist saw you
Came to get my sleeping bag
Now I'm gonna move.
